Nowadays, a lot of people look for a way to earn some extra money on the internet. While it sounds highly unlikely that you can earn money doing almost nothing, it is possible. Some companies are willing to pay you for information that you can provide more or less effortlessly. One of the most common ways to do so is by taking surveys on paid survey sites. Paid survey sites are online panels owned by marketing companies. PaidViewpoint is one of these websites. In this review, I will show you how do they operate and are they legit.

What is it?

PaidViewpoint is a paid survey site owned by AYTM market research company. They collect data from people like you to analyze the market and help businesses to improve. They gather information through online surveys on their site. And they will reward your participation in cash. So far, so good. But, how do you know if they are legit? The internet offers a lot of different opportunities for everyone including fraudsters. Fortunately, information travels fast and if you dig a little bit, it is easy to identify and expose scams. Or, to verify legit operations. I will do it here for you, so let’s see what have I found out.

How does it work?

First, you have to sign up. It is free and available for anyone 13 years old or more. It is a quick and easy procedure as they ask for basic information only. After verifying your email you will get a sign-up bonus of $1. And that is all. Now you are ready for surveys. They have two kinds of surveys: ‘Biz Surveys’ and ‘Trait Surveys’. Once you’ve registered they will send you notifications for Biz Surveys via email. You are qualified for all surveys that you receive, and you can’t be disqualified halfway through, either. If you don’t get a notification, you can still search for available Trait Surveys on their site. They will pay you for these as well.

How much do they pay?

PaidViewpoint will pay you for every survey that you take. Most of them are worth between $0.03 and $0.10. Each survey adds to your ‘TrustScore’. It’s a point system that encourages you to be active. The higher the TrustScore, the more surveys you get, and the more money per survey. 9000 is the number of points for maximum level membership. They promise that their surveys are interesting and short.

You can also earn some money through the referral program. You will be awarded 20% of what your referrals earn each time they take a Biz Survey, up to $25. Your referrals won’t get reduced rewards, as your 20% bonus is an extra profit.

The number of survey invitations depends on your demographics. If you have a desirable profile you will get one survey every day. Then, if you take a trait survey every day, you get about 50-60 surveys per month. So, you can earn between $2 and $6 per month if you take two surveys every day. With five referrals of yours, as active as you, you can double the sum.

Occasionally, you will get Walmart or Amazon gift card.

The minimum payout is $15. You can withdraw your money through your PayPal account and it usually takes up to 72 hours. Obviously, it may take a while to pile up enough money to cash out.

Good Things

They pay in cash – This is good. There’s no complicated point system, gift cards, item catalogs. This way you know exactly how much you get paid.

Every click counts – You will be paid for every single survey you take. Moreover, you will know beforehand how long will it take, how many questions you’ll get, and how much money for each survey.

Interesting surveys – This is important because the basic idea is to earn some money without effort. Enjoyable or boring surveys determine is it easy money or not.

Short surveys – This is great, too. Each survey takes between 1 and 5 minutes tops, so it is not time-consuming.

Referral program – It is a nice addition. If you can refer many friends you can raise your earnings significantly.

Not-So-Good Things

Low pay rate –  This is the only serious downside but it’s a major one! While it’s a sure thing that you’ll get your money, it will take you forever to accumulate a substantial amount.

$15 threshold – Same goes for minimum payout. With such a low income it takes time to reach the threshold.

First of all, PaidViewpoint is absolutely legit. There’s a real company behind them and they deliver what they promise. Everything is very clear and precise which is not the case with many of paid survey sites. I really like this clarity as you can know what to expect beforehand. Actually, I would consider them perfect and appealing if they didn’t have one small flaw: Way too small profit!

So I can’t reach the verdict here. PaidViewpoint is nicely organized site. Surveys are interesting and won’t take a lot of your precious time. But, you can’t make more than a couple of bucks a month unless you refer your whole neighborhood. Eventually, it’s up to you to make a decision. All of the facts are clear, all of the information available, so it should be easy to decide.
